The workhorse of the kitchen

I got a set of Zwilling JA Henckels knives as a wedding gift in 2006 and it included this pair of shears. These shears are by far the most used piece in the block. They cut food, open packaging (food, Amazon, plastic housing, etc.). They are great and maintain their sharpness regardless of what we have thrown at them. Recently, after almost 19 years of ownership, the plastic "nut" holding he shear together snapped while cutting rose stems for my wife's birthday. I was heartbroken as these are the go-to shears in the kitchen. I contacted Zwilling and asked about a replacement part for the shears. They do not sell them. However, I was offered a replacement set of shears! Wow! That is a company that stands behind their product. I am excited to know that Zwilling shears will remain the workhorse of the kitchen for years to come.
