This monster makes great toast
Does a great job evenly toasting bread. Bread toasts quickly. Saves time and keeps the inside of the bread tender under the crisp, toasted surface. Electrical plug is straight rather than flat, so the cord projects vertically from the wall. This pushes the toaster far from the wall into my counter work space. Easily fixed Zwilling... Toaster is too large. Much larger than my prior long slot, 4 slice toaster. Even the height is an inch higher than my old toaster. Smaller would be better. The spring in the handle is too strong. It takes a lot of force to push the toast down. Love the cancel button in the middle of the adjustment knob.

Dud, flawed. Burns toast edges, center pale
Burns edges of bread and leaves center untoasted. Others have had same problem I learned.

Our 2 extra-long slots are designed so that each accommodate 2 standard bread slices or 1 long artisanal-style bread slice. We suggest to please making sure the 3 buttons for Defrost, Warm Up, Bagels are not pushed in, when you are making regular toast. Then for regular toasting try resetting the Toaster Level by changing your desired toasting level using the Control Dial. Please take into consideration that each type of bread holds different levels of moisture and may need a different setting adjustment or may need to be toasted longer to get the desired browning. Awesome toaster
I love this toaster my artisan bread slices fit in very well, the only thing I would change about the toaster is the cord should be in the back instead of the front and the cord does not stay in the groves on the bottom, otherwise it's a totally great toaster!

Should be recalled
I bought this toaster, as a replacement to our previous Zeillibg toaster which lasted almost 10 years. This one is a lemon. It never toasts evenly regardless of the setting selected, it’s either not toasted or burnt. There is also a crack on the plastic, as others have indicated. Now the push down lever is impossible to move. I need to put a wooden toast tong to push it down and then struggle with it to get it to stay down. Complete waste of money and couldn’t be more disappointed.

Overheating problems
A beautiful but dangerous toaster. It gets so hot that you can't touch the outside of it. It was a gift, used one time only, so I'm hoping that I can exchange it for one that works properly, as I didn't get a receipt and no longer have the box.

When you do a lot of toasting back to back or on higher settings then the outside can get hot. Failed after a week
Failed after a week. Trips the GFCI breaker in the electric circuit, indicating there is a short in the unit. Returning for refund.
