3/05/25 For years, struggled with SD and sourdough recipe. Tried everything. Finally called local water board. They put into the trap water, a toxic-to-yeast chemical, hard to remove unless one invests in a pricey water softener. Bought this product and use only filtered water to drink, provide to pets, appliances, and my sourdough. Waited. Success. Evidently the water in the tap here was too "hard" for my SD starter and finally have active starter. A "simple" fix years in the making! Affordable option for direct consumption.

Sticky Pour Spout
Pour spout needs to be should be engineered to improve filtered water flow

Leaks after a few months
Bought the pitcher, first off the tester never worked, ok I’ll just replace the filter when I think it needs it. After using the pitcher for about 3 months the seal around the top spout came off. Now it’s leaking around the brand new filter I just put in. Yes I have made sure it’s secure. Should of bought a Brita never had a problem with those,

New design won't stop leaking
I've been a zerowater user for many many years, and though I love the filters, they're always seems to be some kind of challenge with the pitchers. With this most recent design they've stuck the water tester into the lid so now the top reservoir only holds a tiny bit of water for you to be able to pour from the pitcher or else it will leak water everywhere (see second picture). But the biggest issue is I cannot get the filters to seat well so that they won't leak around the o-ring. For some reason they do not have threads all the way around where you screw in the filter, and no matter how tight I have tried to twist on the filter it leaks through the four gaps in the threads. My older pitcher had the same four gaps in the threads but did not leak like this one did. I've tried removing the filter and reinstalling it and I've been able to get the massive leaking down to a dribble but it still defeats the purpose. It shouldn't let ANY water through the threads. I'm thinking I'll return this one and go with some other system until they have a new pitcher design out that works.

Water runs out
I was curious in trying this pitcher but got disappointed when I was adding water to filter the water runs out through the small sides and does not get filtered is not locking strong from top or I’m I doing something wrong??

Could be better
Impossible to insert filter into lid tightly enough to prevent water from draining around rather than through the filter

Smaller & less convenient than the older model
I bought this to replace my older model of the 10 Cup pitcher. My filters seem to be not lasting as long as they should, so I bought a new pitcher along with replacement filters, thinking my pitcher (about 3 or 4 years old) was ready to be replaced. The new "10 Cup" pitcher is visibly smaller. Not only is the capacity of the pitcher itself smaller, but the top reservoir pre-filter is visibly smaller, so I can only fill so much water in the top at a time. I ended up not using it at all and went back to using my older 10 Cup model. The spout on both, for the record, is annoying, and I ended up removing the little plastic flap on the spout, which kept causing it to drip/spill. It looks different, but I wouldn't say that it's been improved on this newer model by any means. In fact, I prefer the older model.
