Great bag just not quite as large as I thought

I purchased this bag in the Sand color. It’s a nice bag, and the color is accurate to the website. The bag is not as large as I thought it would be based on the image of the model holding the bag. The dimensions on the Macy’s website are not accurate. It says the dimensions are 14"W x 11.5"H x 4"D, but the correct dimensions, which I verified against the manufacturer’s website are 12”W x 14” H x 4.5”D. Otherwise no issues with ordering, and it came quickly.

Awkward strap length

I liked the feel of the leather but ended up returning it. The bag itself is larger in person than it appears on the model in the images. If the images weren't so zoomed in, you could probably get a better idea of the size/proportion. Holding up a measuring tape just isn’t the same as seeing an item in person or having a reliable image of the item on a model. The size of the bag wasnt a deal breaker for me, the main issue was that the strap is too long for a shoulder bag and too short for a crossbody bag. Despite the image showing hardware on the strap, it is not adjustable, so you are stuck with the awkward strap.

Never received

I ordered purse on 2/2726. I never received it and it is impossible to talk to a live customer service representative. I then received a notification that I could keep the damaged item. I have received absolutely nothing. I have been charged for it, I am afraid I will be charged again if I try to replace it. They need an option to speak with a live person.

Pros and cons of the bag

Love the color, buttercup. Everything has a place to be. It’s a bit larger than I prefer but will make it work. As others have said the non leather handle seems to have been put on inside out and the zipper does not work smoothly. So when left unzipped it scratches on your arm. The wallet is ok. Only problem is that credit cards barely fit in the slots. Sounds like I don’t like it but I really do!
