not worth the price / don’t buy

This mixer is so heavy and massive. It doesn’t stand up to the Wolf name at all. It’s wobbly and a huge pain. It doesn’t mix the ingredients well at all and I constantly have to stop to scrape down sides and the very bottom NEVER gets mixed no matter what I’m making. The back gets all scratched up because of how difficult it is to get the massive bowl in and getting the attachments in and out is very difficult and frustrating. The arm does not tilt back so you have to remove the paddle and lower bowl when your scraping down side and desperately trying to mix the bottom ingredients in. Huge disappointment.

Not for me

Nice features, but disappointed with function. Creaming with the paddle attachment worked ok, but much of the creamed ingredient was pushed up the sides of the bowl. This resulted in a Frequent need to scrape. Unfortunately, there is not a sensible paddle attachment with a silicone edge to scrape the bowl available for this machine. Whipping was also disappointing. It took almost 10 minutes to whip 3 egg whites to the soft peak stage. There was an unexpected gear grinding noise while set on 9 which did not affect the speed, but it was not a sound I expected from a very high end machine. The whisk attachment has a complex shape, and it is difficult to get whipped egg white out of the whisk when whipping is complete. Ultimately, I returned it to Macy’s, and I appreciated the ease of return and return policy. Back to my very old kitchen aid!
