Not working at all

I bought it for my daughter for Christmas. She unwrapped her Santa gift and discovered that it does not operate. I changed the batteries and followed the instructions, but it does not move at all. It's a piece of trash. I'm really upset! It's Christmas, it's my daughter's present, and I have to return it to the terrible business who sold it to me. Check before selling this junk!

A big disappointment 😢

My granddaughter chose this two weeks ago for her 7th birthday. It was really difficult to get Hedwig out of her box, but it is impossible to get her to do more than flap her wings, turn her head and open her beak. All the hype about making Hedwig happy by talking to her and stroking her just made my granddaughter feel inadequate because she got no response at all. Once when Hedwig accidentally fell over she did make a noise, but we cannot intentionally make her do anything excess flap her wings and turn her head. This must surely be a defective toy, which I hope I can return for a refund. One very sad little girl 😢

Hedwig protector for the win

Super cute Hedwig sitting on the night stand to guard over our son’s sleep. Our Harry fan is very excited and loves to pet it before nighttime.

Really cute. Perfect for the Harry Potter fans. I waited until it was on sale. I thought it was a little expensive.

No longer makes noise

We received Hedwig for Christmas and after less than a month it has stopped making noises. I’ve replaced the batteries and there is no change. Very disappointing.

Cant get hedwig off the perch

Its a cute toy. But I cant for the life of me get him off the perch! I have tried everything!!!

I thought it was perfect for my great granddaughter (17 months). A toy that talks, since she’s learning how to talk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the Enchanting Hedwig toy. My immediate, first impression upon receiving it was that it is VERY cute. The plush outside is soft and nice to pet, which is one of the functions of the toy. Unfortunately, the school seal on the Hogwarts letter had already fallen off, which was a bit disappointing. It appears to have been attached with some minimally sticky substance. This was for my son, and I let him explore the directions and try to figure out the features. The petting is simple enough and gets an easy response. The talking to feature, however, is pretty meaningless. Hedwig responds in the same way, no matter how or what you say. One of the biggest appeals was that Hedwig is supposed to hold onto the letter and only release it when she's petted in the correct way. No matter how much my son tried, he could not get her to hold the envelope. I was able to wedge it into the little tongue slit mentioned in the directions, but it took a few tries. Both of us tried to pet her (just three times in a row) but never got her to "release" the letter or do the happy dance. End of the day, while the toy is very cute, it seems to promise features that either don't work properly or aren't really features (like maybe you just take the letter from her beak vs her actually releasing it). For a child, it was fairly frustrating and disappointing.
