I bought this book without actually skimming through it, definitely wish i had! Most of the spells include jesus christ and end with ‘amen’? Its a “spell book” not a PRAYER book. If you are wiccan or pagan do not buy it. Huge waste of time and money. Alot of the content is for revenge magic. Alot of cultural appropriation too. Voodoo should NOT be in a book if you cant give information on its background. This book is extremely dangerous if you dont do your research.

Fabulous Book-Give it a Chance!
I have bought many copies of this particular book for myself, friends and family and anyone who is interested in Old ways of magic. This is not a Wicca book and folks are not understanding that aspect. This is a darker, folk magic book with powerful, authentic spells that were performed by many different Cultures, Clans, Groves, Bards, Covens, Magicians, Root Workers, Healers, Sooth Sayers, Witch doctors, Hill folk, Granny doctors etc. of the past. Which seems to scare some folks away as they do not understand them and are expecting the magic, love and light to shine right out of this books pages which does not happen. Some folks get offended, scared by the truths of Old Ways, leading to bad reviews. One needs to understand and accept that this is a collection of Anatasia's hard work and dedication of hunting down, finding and putting all this wonderful info together for you in this beautiful book. It is a fascinating read. I am guessing that many of the ingredients called for, which could be turning the Fluffy Bunny Witch's backs on this book, are most likely being called by old folk names. Look them up. Eye of Newt, Toe of Frog, etc. Bat wings are not pulled off a real bats back, This is holly leaf, readily found, Dragons blood is not bled from a real Dragon, it comes from the root of a very rare tree, so moles blood could be something as simple as turnip juice. Give the book a chance and cherish it for what it really is. A beautifully bound book, full of a plethora of real, authentic Folk Magic.

Don't buy this if you want to learn about magick
Bought this book to expand my knowledge on spell work and magick but this book is filled with cultural appropriation and misleading wording. The author use the g-slur and has hoodoo, voodoo, and indigenous american spells, encouraging the reader to practice those spells when they come from a closed practice. There is no mention or disclaimer that one should not attempt to perform such magick if you're not from that culture. Generally gives the vibes of a children's joke book rather than a reliable research source.

Very misleading
I highly don't recommend this for someone who is a beginner or someone looking to practice solely white magic this book is absolutely not for white magic practice to start off there are spells from multiple different practices and there is no explanation for any of the practices that the spells come from which is absolutely a must if you're trying to teach, second there is some very dark magic items in this for example there are spells from the Necronomicon, Hoodoo and Voodoo magic the necronomicon for those that don't know is a dark magic book almost borderline demonic it has spells about communing with spirits in a dark negative way, second Hoodoo Magic is what is referred to as Blood Magic which again is another form of negative dark magic to give an example of someone who's know for the use of Hoodoo Magic is Marie laveau and for those that don't know who she is exactly if you've seen American Horror Story season 3 Angela Basset portrayed her but she is a real person who practiced Hoodoo magic. Voodoo magic is very similar but also very different from Hoodoo all this being said this is not a book for someone who is a beginner i work in a store where we sell this book due to witchcraft being trendy and popular ive seen kids at ages 13-16 buying this and they don't know what their doing they don't know how dangerous this is and they're going to take this and do something deadly and harmful fo themselves without realizing it because they think all magic is the same when in reality its not. my family practices white magic including myself That's how i know so much and I definitely do not recommend this whatsoever to anyone trying to spread love and light and the positive side of magic or looking to start practicing magic
