Whynter ARC-1230WN 14000 BTU

Love it. It cooled down our space in 1 hour. We were able to purchase on sale and was worth it. I think installation was easy if you follow the directions. The double hose style enclosed in one unit is much easier on the eyes. I like that the energy efficiency is so much better with the inverter style.

Powerful, Portable and Pure Joy to Look at.

I recently replaced my bulky, expensive window unit with this product for my living room, and it’s fantastic. It works well, blends in like furniture, and makes the room look bigger and cleaner by not blocking the window.

Escellent Product

I bought this unit to cool my garage since I do many things in it. Unit was easy to setup and operate. Love the wi-fi app which allows me to control it even though I'm not physically in garage area.

Good until we got over 100F

Waited for peek summer temps to write this review. My room is 500sqf this unit is cooling, it's set to 69f, max fan, flap going up and down to spread the air. These stats were taken the same time each day at over 100f temps outside. Readings are from the A/C's own phone app. Day1: 104 outside / 76 inside Day2: 106 outside / 77 inside Day3: 108 outside / 79 inside So bottom line to know is over 100f outside you are going to start loosing ground on cooling inside at 500sqf of area.

Worth the extra price

I'm a big believer of buying good value or just a good price. This is not a cheap unit. It does however deliver as promised. I handles a large living room with ease and it does so quietly. Don't skimp by getting on those generic brands. I made that mistake a couple of times and figured the little extra cost does go a long way. Do you research ahead of time but this is a good one.

Super cold

This is exactly what I want for the summer. get your room much colder than expected. it's extremely useful for all the rigs I have set up. Keeps the room temperature a nice frosty 68 degrees all night.
