In 18th century England, Josiah Wedgwood, creator of the world famous Wedgwood ceramic ware, established a tradition of outstanding craftsmanship and artistry which continues today. The exotic floral design of the Oberon place settings pattern from Wedgwood's dinnerware and dishes collection is finely scaled and exquisitely precise, in soft shades of green and gold accented with black, against pure white bone china.

love it but have to return

Vibrant yet elegant . I love this china so much that I bought more than 18 sets in total for my sisters and myself . Unfortunately as soon as we opened the package we found out that many teacups are tilted . Although we really want to keep it, the flaws are so obvious , now we have to return them. Sad.

My Wedding China and Michelle Obama's Choice

This is an incredibly unusual china pattern which I chose as my wedding china. I have a full set for ten which is over 20 years old. I was very excited about being able to fill out to set to twelve place settings when they went on sale. They were beautifully wrapped in Wedgewood boxes. Everything arrived in perfect condition. The problem came up with the color on the teacup. the soft rusty color had become a strong burgundy. In fact upon close inspection, every color was slightly off and darker. I checked my plate markings on the underside. The new cup had a "W" where my old cup had full markings including made in England. I called Wedgewood. They had changed their manufacturing to Indonesia and other offshore and had no control over consistency with the older dishes made in England. It is a gorgeous pattern but the new plate settings don't have the same graceful color transitions. My husband thought that no one would ever notice, but the point was I would. Anyone buying the set now will love it as is. The new dishes just don't match the old. :(

Elegant, regal and beautiful!

My title says it all! Imagine pairing this gorgeous set with sparkling crystal goblets and flatware?? I use sets like this from spring to fall. The dishes are very delicate and the salad plate design evokes pure class as well as the gold edging on all the pieces. It's a set that is sure to impress your guests!!

Beautiful

I bought these for my daughter-in-law. She loves the green and gold design. It is fancy without being over the top. She set the table with them at Christmas and it was gorgeous!
