Nice silverware storage chest

I love this chest it holds my Mother's 16 piece set of sterling silver silverware. Knives fit in and do not fall out. The drawer is an added bonus that holds sering set plus the extra 4 place setting.

Not something to waste money on

This item looks lovely but is totally inadequate to house a full set of silver The knives do not fit in the stop as shown in picture. You can not even get either the blade or handle through the loops provided Also I would not use the handles provided on side as they will rip out if you put silverware inside and try to lift Also an invoice came with the product with a substantially lower price and Macy’s would not honor the price difference So much for shopping at Macy’s Would not recommend

Clatter Trap!

This box is beautiful. I got all my pieces in to it and then came the KNIVES!!!!!There is NO WAY to secure the knives do the don’t clatter down onto the rest of the service pieces! I thought maybe I had not put them into the correct slot…. So I tried pushing it in with a little more force but it was RUINING the tip of my knife!! NOPE there are no slots for the bottom of the knives to set in. Super BAD DEDIGN! There is no room for the gravy ladle either as the bottom drawer is too shallow.

Not like the chests used to be be made

Given to a close family member as a gift. Their thoughts that although nice they were surprised that it was not a heavier chest. I hope it is sturdy enough to last and serve its purpose

grandmothers silver too long for compartments

not as spacious as I thought. The knife holder is too short
