Toggle

I just opened this heater and the toggle switch doesn't work. It is stuck and we can't get it to move any direction. Anyone have this problem?

Great when they work...

To sum up, these are excellent when they work but I've had two malfunction in under a year. I have two of these heaters purchased a few years apart. They do not produce a ton of instant heat but given a little time they can warm an entire bedroom or smaller space evenly. It's enough to make my garage with uninsulated doors tolerable in 20º weather. -However, after less than a year, both of these have developed the same intermittent issue where they simply won't turn on. Sometimes I can jiggle it and that's enough to trip it back on but usually I have to abandon it and at random it will begin to work again. I thought the first one was a fluke and due to something being dropped on it and foolishly bought a second for another room only to have the same thing happen for no apparent reason.

Works well, not too loud, weird wiring choice

The heater works well for a small space, I'm using it for a studio shed. The wiring was done weird in my opinion. There is no way to use the fan without applying heat. If the switch is on and the thermostat is set to low, the fan turns off. This was an easy adjustment if you have basic wiring knowledge. Might not matter to many folks, but just a warning: The fan only runs while the heat is also on.

Nice home office heater

I bought this heater because I had read other reviews about it working nicely. I wanted something that would not stand out (in a bad way) design-wise. I'm happy with the purchase. It keeps my office nice and toasty without having to heat my whole house.

Style Plus

I bought this Vornado heater about a month ago and don't have any complaints about it. Doesn't really heat a small bedroom quickly on low, but the higher setting does the trick. It's a bit noisy, but I like the white noise it produces. I really like the look and the fact you can adjust the direction of the flow about an inch and a half up and down. Seems like a quality product. Happy with it.

Reliable heat!

I purchased the Vornado to add heat to my central natural gas system and because of its non-electronic thermostat. If you loose power, the unit will begin operating again as soon as power is restored. Many electronic units have to be reset. The only problem is a four degree differential in the thermostat. The area gets too cool and too hot because of this operation.

noisy and cool air

My pets were afraid of it due to noise. I bought it cause my feet are always cold on floor it put out alot of air but it was not what i would call hot. I give it a low score for those two reasons and the price. If it had cost less than fine you get what you pay for so i bought it with higher expectations.

Meets my needs

I needed a space heater that could be controlled by a separate sensor switch. Glide meets that requirement. As a big bonus, it looks great and runs whisper quiet.
