I bought it because it was one of a very few made in USA and I have had prior good experiences with Vornado. So far so good.

does not move much air

The output is OK,and the analog ability to return to operation after a power outage is a critical need. However, this does not move much air; the fan on 'high' moves no more air than the fan on 'auto'. The only difference is the fan cycles on and off; the fan setting should be labelled 'on' rather than 'high'. Fortunately, the temp-control knob is actually adjustable, unlike the MVH where the stupid recessed control becomes unadjustable. This also feels/sounds a bit 'tinny'/flimsy. At least it does have a fan-only setting.

Not giving out as much heat as our older Vornado

I bought this because we had a Vornado years ago, it was small and gave out a lot of heat, warmed up the room very quickly. This one is a little bit of a disappointment because it is bigger and does not give as much heat as the other one.

VH2 Whole Room Heater

Over all my years of buying space heaters this VH2 Whole Room Heater is absolutely the best heater and the most quiet heater I have ever owned. I love and am now a fan of Vornado heaters! They are the best!

Safety

Works great in smaller rooms. The safety feature is great. Dog accidentally knocked it over and it shut off.
