I am struggling to rate this heater appropriately so I'll start with the good: It does an incredible job of heating a room quickly, is quiet enough, and I like the fan only option too. The thermostat and controls all do a great job. Design is sleek and while I never use the remote for any reason, I suppose it's nice for some people. Here's the not so good: Mine stopped working after only two months. It made a clicking noise and then just no power at all. I tried again after letting it sit for a day in case it overheated and had some sort of protection switch triggered...still no power. The other problem I had is the bright display. During the day it looks very nice and modern but if you like to use it at night or sleep with the noise in fan only mode like we do, it's intense! So bright that Batman might show up thinking you called for him bright. You can't exactly cover it either. They should make it dimmable or have the display backlight that auto turns off after 15 sec or a night mode at least.

Great Room Fan
I bought the TAVH10 for my workout room. I use it whenever I exercise on my treadmill.

Returned, set temp range limited
Very limited set temp range. For some reason, Vornado decided to limit the low set temp to 60 degrees... Seems odd. Wanted to use to keep RV around 40, so not useful. Returning today.

the touch screen and sensor are aggressively bright
The heater does its job but it's unfortunate you can't control this device with any sort of smart timer. Further, the touch screen and sensor are SO BRIGHT they illuminate the entire room. it's honestly shocking how bright the thing is and you can't exactly cover it up because you can't just control it with a smart device you need to use the screen or remote.

Perfect little heater!
I have used this heater non-stop in my bedroom all winter while setting my heatpump just at a minimum temperature of 60 degrees. It stayed on all winter without turning off except when I went out of town. I found if I turned it off at night it was difficult to heat up the room the next evening. So my solution was to turn it to about 65 then turn it up later. It does take a while to heat up a large room, but does a great job once warm. The fan only option is kind of lame, but I have a Vornado fan so that's not an issue for me. However, I do take this with me when I do trade shows where it's either cold or hot and this does the trick!

Outstanding Heater (with only one minor issue)
I purchased this heater last year to take the edge off my bedroom at night. I’m a light sleeper so I was looking for something super quiet, possibly remote controlled, and with an accurate climate control (the Vornado TAVH10 checked all the boxes). I procrastinated on spending the money for this unit while shopping and comparing other available options. What sold me was seeing one in use at my veterinarian’s waiting room. I was VERY impressed with how quiet it was and how nicely is seemed to be working out in that application. I asked the staff about it who said the waiting area was always a little cold by the big picture window and it really made a difference. The liked that it had the remote so they could control it from the receptionist area and the timer feature was helpful to ensure nobody forgot to turn it off at the end of the day. I was sold! It is a great heater! The electronic climate control is probably the best part. It reads the room temp and has a sophisticated way to adjust to achieve your set temperature (much better than the manual type). It will operate on high to get to desired temp, then ramps down to a whisper on low to maintain the temperature. You can select continuous low temp if you’d like, but even if high is selected, it will automatically turn down (or pause) when the desired temp is achieved. The remote is very handy, as is the timer and safety features. The ONLY reason for four stars is the unit has a tinge of a plastic smell about it. Although I much prefer steel encased heaters, I have had plastic contained units made by other leading brands that never smelled. At first I thought it was just because it was new and you could smell the fresh plastic or circuitry, but I’m on my second season and it still smells. I don’t recall the one at the vet smelling, and my friend has a VH200 that does not smell either. If it wasn’t for that... I’d give it 5 stars all the way!

I Love It!
Bought this for a secondary bedroom heater. It heats up the whole room quick, and then cuts off and on automatically by the thermostat. It’s very quiet and puts out a lot of heat. I love it

Great room heater!
I bought this 3 weeks ago after using one in an AB&B house in Lake Tahoe over Thanksgiving. I love that it shows the room’s current temperature and that I can set it to what ever temperature I want. I have used it in an 18’X10’ room and in a larger room of 12’X24’ with high ceilings and within15 minutes from 50* it was 65. I love that it circulates all the air doesn’t just push air out. It sure made a difference and I have an electric heavy duty room heater up there that I had to turn way down.
