replacement for 20+ year old Vornado

I am happy with the fan. Same look, BUT I do miss the variable speed control and switch placement on the older model. I was n the Andover plant hundreds of times when I drove for Yellow Freight

IT's NEW. Of course it works! I like Vornado otherwise I would not have bought it.

No way can I review a new fan. Ask me again in 5, 8 years. Costly

You get what you pay for

I have been a Vornado customer for 25 years. I purchased this model for the directions you can point it - at the floor to straight up. Noise levels are good at all speeds. Airflow is great as always with Vornado. I’d purchase another one if I needed it. Well made product

Good fan but prefer Variable speed fans-black pls!

Like Vornado fans. The variable speed ones are the best. The company however , does not offer them (Energy smart/variable speed) in black. Had to settle for this one. It has three speeds. Slowest speed WAY TOO LOUD, and strong. Sleeping with this fan on at lowest setting? fugeddaboudit. Really hope that variable speed fans will soon be available in black. I can't wait to swap this one out for a variable speed fan. Would recommend *with caveat* that this fan is noisy, loud, and too strong, even at lowest setting.

very effective

does a very good job circulating the air in a large space. I also like how many positions it can be put in.

Great small fan

This fan is nice. It is soooo quiet, but very powerful on high. Built out of solid materials, not cheap plastic. I would highly suggest this fan if you want a small beast of a product.
