Beware - Noisy/cheap internal fan motor.
I bought this fan having high expectations based on the design, made in USA claim, and because I had heard of the Vornado brand. The fan puts out a lot of air despite having only 3 speed settings. But the motor is a cheap AC motor instead of the newer brushless DC motors found in other tower fans. The buzzing and rattle at lower speeds is unbearable and makes it difficult to use at night when trying to sleep. The design is great… but the execution leaves much to be desired.

Quiet and cool
Great fan- love the multiple speeds, how quiet it is even on high speeds, and how it cools really well. I haven't tried it horizontally, but it is very easy to switch between vertical and horizontal. Sturdy and sleek.

Good product but needs a plan for implementation
I bought this item more or less on impulse at a retail store. It's an excellent product in terms of design and manufacture. The magnetic feet are especially brilliant. But I am not convinced that it really has a place in my home. I recommend any prospective purchaser carefully inspect its specifications and assess if they have a place to put it that will make sense and provide a return on the investment. This product has a specific footprint and a specific use case, and if you don't have a suitable place for it you might not enjoy it.

good window fan
my window opens sideways. i got this to keep the window mostly closed and still get fresh air while i sleep. took a while to mount, and it's a bit noisy, but now i'm mostly happy. i have it bungeed to hooks on the window frame, sitting without the magic feet.

Also, does not oscillate. It is quieter than round fan.

It not only cools you off but helps you breathe better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been wanting to try a tower fan for awhile. So I was so excited when Influester and Vornado gave me the opportunity to try their air circulator and fan airbar 6. I haven't gone a day or night without since I got it. It helps keep me cool in this South Carolina heat. I have horrible sinus problems and since I got the air circulator I haven't woke up one single morning not being able to breathe out of my nose. I absolutely lovey my air circulator tower fan !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fan is so cool! I love that it can be horizontal or vertical. It is sleek and doesn’t make that much noise. It could easily sit on top of something like an entertainment system. Giving some really nice air. The amount of air coming out of the fan has a nice range as far as distance. I would definitely recommend this fan. I love that the removable pieces on the end of the fan are magnetic. So when you wanted to turn your fan from horizontal to vertical the pieces come off and on very easily, yet seem quite stable.

10/10 purchase - Cooling quality is immaculate

I love this product because it has two ways that you can set it up (horizontal or vertical). It is VERY cooling and has a few different settings for air flow.
