DID WE GET A LEMON !!!!!!?????????

It takes 2-3 smoothie cycles for it to properly blend. Also the container moves off center on the base a lot while blending.

Hi there! Vitamix containers are not designed to lock into place. Therefore, it is completely normal for the container shift slightly while on the base. When you turn the unit on, you will notice that the container may shift slightly to the right or the left. This is intended, as the motor base is aligning with the container for optimal performance. If you feel more comfortable, you may place your hand on top of the lid while you blend to better secure the container. However, do not press down on the container in an attempt to “lock” it in place, as doing so could cause damage the motor. Also know that the programs are a suggested time, typically for a single serve smoothie, you may have to blend longer when making a large batch like in this photo. Using you tamper while blending will also speed up the process. Please call us at 1-800-848-2649 and we would be happy to troubleshoot the machine and provide more blending tips.

At this time, we have not found a suitable glass container design to meet the strict safety and performance requirements we place on our products. With that being said, we continue to research this design and encourage you to stay tuned for updates on new products. Vitamix uses the best materials to produce a high-quality blender that safely performs according to customer expectations. We use only BPA-Free materials including Eastman Tritan for our blending containers. Vitamix uses only FDA-approved materials for any surface coming in contact with food. We have also released a Stainless Steel container that is compatible for use with all full-size Vitamix blenders! What a digital upgrade! My third Vitamix and the best. Love the modern feel. More so so surprisingly quiet. Yeah. For a Vitamix, one expects noise. So you know you have the most powerful blender. You still know. Quietly confident. My smoothies every morning are unleashed

Love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] very good product, it grinds things super well and very quickly, it doesn't make exaggerated noise, I really recommend it. It does not have such large blades so it is very easy to clean it without having any accidents.

My Vitamix is awesome

I got my vitamix for an early Xmas present. I have used it every day since I received it. I m very impressed with the auto features and the self cleaning mode. It’s super easy to use. FYI, the power switch is underneath in the back in the right side… lol. Took me a minute if you’ve been considering it.. go for it. One word of warning, it’s louder than I expected but it not a deal breaker for me.
