Walking in max walk-ups

The max lace-ups are great walking shoes- very comfortable and supportive. The first day I had them, I walked 8 miles- no break in time needed.

Lace up - sneaker

Bizarre design, mediocre quality.

My age-old Vionic Kona sneakers wore out, and I looked to replace them with this style, but no dice. Vionic cut corners with these sneakers. The shoe fabric seems good, but the detailing feels cheap. Poor lace and eye design make unlacing and lacing the shoes very difficult (Note: the shoes arrived underlaced, impractical for walking sneakers). The shoe tongue is a cheap, thin piece of fabric, unlike the padded tongue of quality sneakers. The arch support feels sufficient, but the overall fit isn't a good as my Konas. Saddened to see the quality of yet another brand I love plummet. Too bad, because the Fruit Punch colorway is gorgeous.
