Buyer beware

I purchased this watch with the thought that it would last. After one year, I had the battery replaced at a local jeweler. After less than two years, the watch quit again, however it was not the battery. Contacted Victorinox - they would not help because the back had been opened to replace the battery. Clearly not worth the money.
