Very happy I finally bought it!
I have thought about getting one of these for the past couple of years but seems like I wait until mid to late winter to realize I might need one and put it off each year. I bought this in December and having been using each morning for 15 minutes while I drink my coffee and watch the news. I sometimes use it longer on the weekend when I have more time. It makes a great reading lamp. I am amazed at how much better I have felt this winter. I am more alert in the morning and find it easier to get my day started. I haven't gotten those winter blues this year and it is late February. My cat has even gotten into the habit of sitting by it every morning with me. I love the different brightness feature, and the timer is a must. I would recommend it.

Over all recommend
I really like this light. I got it about 2 weeks ago and do feel it's helped my depression. I really like how easy it is to use and that the stand clips onto the back so I can throw it in my backpack for days I'm working in an office. I like the different light settings and the timer with 5 minute increments. I've already recommended it to a couple people.

Helps my Morning Nausea
Got it for Christmas, used it twice. Here I will show pictures with and without the light in the room where I like to pace in the early morning to get some exercise in the dead of winter.

My life hack for keeping my depression at bay
I've owned my HappyLight from Verilux for over 2 years now. It has helped incredibly with my mood and sleep - I use it every morning during breakfast at the brightest intensity for 30 minutes. I love the timer feature - when the light stops, it's time to get up and go about my day. I've recommended it to many of my college friends and several have purchased and are extremely happy with it. This one is a bit large, but I bought the largest one so I could get as much sun exposure as possible. It's between the size of an iPad and 13 inch computer. I just detach the stand and cord and slide it in my backpack and carry it on to planes, trains and cars. I absolutely love it and it has made such a difference in keeping my depression in check.

On/off difficulties
Gave to daughter in Alaska for a gift. She reports trouble getting them to come on again after just turning them off. She was frustrated.
