GOLD WEARS OFF AFTER A FEW MONTHS

Warning: these do not stay gold. Although the set is quite pretty and has a nice weight, the gold color does not last and these turn silver. Very disappointing for a fairly expensive set of flatware.

Stunning Gold Vera Wang Place Settings are perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stunning Vera Wang "polished" GOLD 5 Piece Place Setting, Four Piece Hostess Set and Three Piece Serving Set are beautiful additions to our eclectic home design.The graceful and practical gold 5-piece place settings work elegantly in all design vernaculars and yet are extremely practical, as they are dishwasher safe. However, I suggest to hand wash any gold place settings to assure longevity. I would like to clarify that the gold finish on these wonderful place settings is "brushed", not polished, which is far more practical, and offers a more contemporary edge to the classic lines of this wonderful addition to our dining or breakfast rooms. Delighted with the purchase and the gold place settings are perfect for elegant dinner parties or memorable family dinners.

Beautiful Accent to any table

Beautiful and classic

Registered for this flatware for our wedding to compliment the Vera Wang Wedgewood China with gold lace detail. The gold doesn't quite match, but it's so hard to find gold flatware that I chose it anyway. It really does look beautiful together and compliments the China nicely.
