I've been buying this blanket for years. Truly beautiful and soft. The latest one shows up like a person with a blindfold on sewed it. Threads hanging off, seams coming undone and the material is not what it used to be. It's no longer run your hand over it smooth. So, I packed that one up to return and bought another in the meantime. THAT one shows up without the plastic outer zip bag. They've got to be kidding me. So you're going to leave my blanket uncovered on a store shelf for months with nothing but a ribbon on it? It came dusty and also not as luxurious. Time to find a new 'luxury' blanket, this is not the same. What a shame. I loved this blanket.
I have two of these blankets. They are very plush and warm. My little granddaughter asked if she could have one so I ordered her one also.

Lovely plush blanket but very slippery, slides off the bed even on top of a cotton blanket underneath.

Very happy with my purchases. I bought 2 and use them along with the Brushed Microfleece also made by Vellux. We are INSTANTLY warm the minute we get under our blankets and love the weight of the Luxury Plush blankets. Using the two different blankets together is key to an amazingly warm, comfy night!
