IMO the best running shoe ever made with a slight flaw.

I would give this shoe 5 stars but it has a minor flaw. The front part of the shoe unglues itself. I did put some gorilla super glue on but that's not the point, I want my product to last. Other than that, I can honestly say this is the best running shoe I've ever owned. I've bought from other brands but they don't compare to this shoe. I've ran 5+ miles with no pain or discomfort on my feet. I've officiated basketball games for 8 hours with very short breaks in between and I did not experience any pain whatsoever after the fact. I will definitely be buying this shoe again but I haven't found them in black which is my favorite shoe color.

Excellent running shoes!

I love these shoes! The soles are durable and responsive, and the cushioning is the best I've seen so far on any of their other shoes. My only complaint is that they feel slightly tight around the middle of my foot so my heel can slide up and down some unless I REALLY push it back in the shoe to make sure it's snug. It sounds weird, but I don't have this issue with my other UA shoes.

A lot better than expected

I always expect high quality from UA, but this really impressed me. I was a little skeptical of the durability of the Threadborne, but it is a lot thicker than I thought it’d be. The upper actually has a thin mesh layer that the tongue is attached with as well as the heel, then the threadborne lays over that and covers the toe. The charged cushioning feels great just walking around, really soft compared to MicroG that I really liked. My only complaint is that sometimes the heel feels a little loose when you land on your heel because the shoe will buckle out and not hug your foot. My foot doesn’t slip, it just doesn’t feel as tight as when standing still. I got used to it quick though. This shoe is surprisingly stable for a knit upper and feels great. I hope UA can keep this style of shoe coming and looks like they will with the HOVR line. A great casual shoe that has great performance.

Too small

The shoes heel was bigger than I expected which is not good for lateral movements. Despite that the shoe has good support for your feet at the bottom. I decided to return mine since the top of the shoe was too tight. The length of the shoe was perfect however I felt like they were pinching my feet.

Best Shoes Yet

Fortis 2 is a solid shoe and the Fortis 3 is a good evolution. High comfort, and more compact cushioning than the F2. And easily the best looking shoe UA has made. Great for everyday. They fit slightly larger.

Mixed reaction

First off, let me say that I am a fan of UA shoes. The couple of pairs Gemini 2s I have had previously, are some of the most comfortable and well built shoes I have ever had. That being said, I am still not quite sure about these Threadborne Fortis 3s I've had for about two weeks. Ok, so the good: They fit comfortably, are well constructed, sharp looking and have that awesome Charged cushion system so they are bouncy and light. The bad: They feel quite loose on my feet, especially at the ankle. In fact, the ankle kind of bulges open during your midstep. Also the quality of the laces are not very good. I read a review on a runner's website that described these shoes as a running-training hybrid, and I would say that is a spot on description. I wouldn't log a ton of miles in these, but they work well for the gym.

Awesome cushioning

The landing and cushioning is soft but explosive. The upper is very light but durable and provides great support
