“Life happens, there s nothing we can do!”

I paid for express delivery, so these sandals were supposed to be delivered in 3 business days. Macys took this long to process it and when I called them to ask them to speed the delivery or arrange for me to pick it up from any nearby store I hit a wall “Sorry, can’t do! When I explained that I can’t wait for 6 days because I have to leave for holiday they told me that “Life happens, there s nothing we can do!” I had to cancel and stop the delivery… so unprofessional. Even if “life happens” as a business they should be give me a solution for a situation they created.
