Stylish but shoe doesn't fit properly

I love the style but the size is a little too big. I used to order 6.5 and it fits me well but this is way too big that my foot slips out of the back of my shoe.

From reviews I sized down from a seven to a size 6, slipped but snug at the toe. Returned and ordered a size 7 still slipped and tried thick socks. Very uncomfortable for an Ugg shoe, had to return
