Definitely Recommend but ...

I definitely recommend this method of hair removal, particular for upper lip. I will warn you that it is painful, far more so than tweezing, but I can do my whole upper lip area in a couple of minutes rather than many times more it used to take with tweezing. I have found that if I stay on top of touch ups I can just use regular tweezers (which I honestly think hurt less now) and when I go to long I use this again. This is a pretty sturdy device that will last years and is one of the cheapest forms of hair removal. The first time it was hard to figure out how to use this device, despite the fact I had read other reviews and even looked for videos on YouTube (which I highly recommend doing). It still just has a bit of a learning curve, plus it is painful so you have to go slow until you get the hang of it. I also would like to note that this comes with just the spring hair remover, no tweezers like other tweezerman sets do elsewhere (for the same price), not sure what's up with that.

Hard to use

I tried a few times, very hard to use. I went back to my Tweezerman tweezer after like the fifth try...

Unfortunately, not worth it.

This item was purchased to help remove hair from the upper lip and the chin/jaw area. Additionally, the goal was to replace threading (to save time and money since my hair grows in fast). Unfortunately, this item is very tedious to use (i.e. I have to turn the handles several times simultaneously to remove 1 strand of hair). It’s just not efficient and doesn’t remove all hairs. I feel like your facial hair has to be long enough for the gadget to grab them...so kind of defeats the purpose. Oh well.

Not practical

Does not work for short course hairs. Only good for long facial hairs. Not easy to use/ Hurts.

I never could figure these out. When I returned to the store, even the sales people couldn’t figure them out
