Someone older, patient and wise, who understood you when you were young and searching, helped you see the world as a more profound place, gave you sound advice to help you make your way through it. For Mitch Album, that person was his college professor Morrie Schwartz. Maybe, like Mitch, you lost track of this mentor as you made your way, and the insights faded, and the world seemed colder. Wouldn't you like to see that person again, ask the bigger questions that still haunt you, receive wisdom for your busy life today the way you once did when you were younger? Morrie is a yapper

Morrie yaps the entire book, like bro should just shut his trap and kick the bucket already. This is FLAMING GARBAGE. This book illustrates pictures of Hell that nobody wants to see. DO NOT READ.

Great Read!

“Tuesdays with Morrie”, a book that doesn’t sound very interesting at a first glance, gives a lot of insight into the world of passing on one’s legacy. Before I would have purchased this book, I would’ve wanted to have known that it really makes you reflect on your own life. When I was reading through there were many times that I could relate lessons that Morrie would share to my own life. That’s what is so great about this book is just how relatable it is to anyone’s life. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone. However I’d say that the subject matter of the book and its message is better received with someone who is older. Overall though, “Tuesdays with Morrie” is a great read. I noticed that I got through the book fast and it kept me engaged the whole time I was reading. The chapters are short and to the point which helps with keeping the reader engaged. I would definitely suggest you read this book.

wonderful heartfelt story

Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom is a great well written retelling of events about the slow death of the athour’s old professor Morrie. The book goes over all 13 Tuesdays that they met on to talk about death, fear, aging, greed, marriage, family, society, forgiveness, and a meaningful life until Morrie eventually died from his ALS. Morrie is MItch’s old professor from college who is getting a chance to be Mitch's professor again for the last time as he is diagnosed with ALS. Morrie helps Mitch learn how to have a meaningful life as he teaches Mitch about what he learned about life from dying. The book takes place in west newton massachusetts 1995 inside of Morrie's small home where he will live out the last few weeks of his life. I have to give this book a 5 out of 5 as I find this book excellent. It has great writing and a wonderful heartfelt story.

Amazing book!

When I say this book was amazing I mean it. This was something completely new to me, I couldn't stop reading this book, every time I had a chance to read it I took it. After you start reading this you can't stop especially when you get deeper in to the book. It gets more interesting as you go so don't give up on it if it starts getting less interesting to you.

i love this!!!!

I'm only more than halfway through this book and it’s already taught me so much. It taught me to make more of a life then it is because you only have one. It taught me to think about what other people are going through. And lastly it taught me to always be their and try and take care of the people you love because you never know if somethings gonna happen to them. I feel like the reason Morrie isn't afraid to die is because he will be reunited with his mother. Overall i love this book and i rate it so far a 5 out of 5.

Great Read

The book is mainly about an old man named Morrie who gets a disease called ALS. The disease slowly kills you over time, and Morrie makes the best out of the time that he has. The plot is that you don't live forever and you have to make the most out of the time you have. Morrie is a strange man who has had many students over the years that adore him. Morrie has a student named Mitch who lives in Detroit and recrosses paths with Mitch. Morrie also had distant children that aren't in touch with him. I would give the book an overall rating of 5 stars.
