I love this bed Nice & perfect. It's really outstanding in my bedroom.
Theres a gap
I've had this bed for over 6 months and its still in great condition. The quality is not bad, but like the other reviews say, there is a gap when mattress is placed on top.
Queen-sized frame sold as full-sized frame
Purchased and installed in June. Although all pieces were in boxes labeled full size, the bed frame is clearly for a queen mattress: 5" too wide and 7" too long to be called a full-sized bed frame. So, now what? Do I shell out money for a new queen mattress to match the frame or try to get this frame replaced by the correct size? Based on the number of negative comments about the oversized full bed frame I'm feeling stuck. Clearly there is no full-sized version.
Macy's Read Your Reviews and Corrected the Slats
My son purchased this bed for his first apartment, and was out of town when it was delivered, so I let the delivery guys in. They actually arrived early, calling first, which worked well for me, and knew exactly how to set up the bed. I was surprised, after reading the reviews about the three flimsy slats that go cross the frame, to see that the delivery guys brought FIVE of them. And even more improved, they screwed the slats into the side of the bed somehow with a drill (didn't have a good view), AND all five slats have center wood SUPPORTS that go from underneath the slats to the floor. So Macy's obviously took the slat issue seriously and corrected this, at least this was the case for the full size bed that arrived here. At one point, when the guys were bringing in the mattress, I attempted to pull the side of the bed to center the bed under some windows, and I pulled the frame out of the headboard, so they had to re-do that. Lesson learned, be careful when moving the bed. I realize that wood has varying degrees of grain patterns, making each bed unique, but the headboard received didn't have much interesting grain in it. It's attractive enough, but not as richly grained as the stock photos. The Mocha finish should work well with various other pieces if you don't purchase the set. If you are searching for a bed with clean lines, and with a headboard that doesn't take up much depth in your room, this could work for you.

I bought this bed online without actually seeing it. It is well made. I was so happy that I ended up getting the dresser and a night stand. The workmanship is great.

delivery men were on time. WOW ! how quick there were to assemble my new bed and they were quite pleasant. This was the first bed I have "ever" bought for myself. (sad to say) lol. I always had milk crates as my foundation, with a large piece of ply wood on top. I am sooooo very HAPPY with my Tribeca platform bed and with Macy's.

Sure, this bed looks just fine but if you use it long enough and weigh more than 20 pounds, it will break! A support system of three slats is totally ineffective. very cheaply made and the bed broke within months of owning it. Would never recommend and am surprised that macys would sell this sort of product.

I purchased this bed almost a year ago and I love it. It is perfect. Very rich in color. Clean lines. I recommend this bed for anyone. It is beautiful. Delivery was on time and white glove service.
