Very disappointed

I used the carry-on bag for a road trip and before I even got a chance to really use the bag, the wheel fell off! It looks like a round piece of plastic kept the wheel from attaching. Maybe the piece of plastic was left on from the manufacturer. Regardless the bag fell apart even though I was very gentle with it.

Good suitcase

I have the travel pro platinum elite carry on so when it came time to replace my checked luggage, I looked first at the travel pro platinum elite medium. The medium is the perfect size for me. When fully packed for a week long trip, it was 48 pounds. The larger size surely would have been over 50. So far, my only complaint is that the inner pocket on the “lid” of the suitcase unzips the opposite way I normally use it. That pocket is designed as a hanging type bag, and I will never use it that way. This will definitely become annoying over time, but it’s manageable so far. The zipper unzips on the sides and bottom of the “lid”, with the non-zip side being the “top” of the lid when you lean the lid open against a wall. I prefer it to go the other way so that when I lean it agains a wall, the top is open like an envelope. 🤷🏻‍♀️ One of the zipper pulls lost its black plastic facing on the first trip. I think the zipper pull itself is a bit bent. I had the zippers locked in, so I’m guessing maybe it got stuck on equipment or something. All in all, a good investment and I’m happy with it.

Great but durable?

I love using the bag. Rolls great, has more space inside than the external dimensions would suggest. But sadly the very first trip the bag was damaged enough by airline baggage handlers that the handle no longer extends. Now I get to try out the warranty process…
