Buyers Beware. Customer Service doesn’t exist.
A recent reviewer claimed that her Style # 43045 broke on her first use because the black material loop broke. The metal d loops were missing, not attached to the black loop. I also received the same backpack WITHOUT the metal d loops. It was a production failure, but Travelon made the excuse, “ that I received the newer model, which does no longer has the d loops/ metal brackets. Without the metal brackets attached to the bottom of the backpack, renders the backpack, unstable enough to carry any weight. Even the first person that I talked to at Travelon Customer Service, told me after he had looked at my photos, that indeed it should have the metal brackets attached, and it was obvious that it was a production failure. Buyers Beware! They put the blame on Macy’s because I received their product significantly reduced because of a 24 hour sale. I went out and bought two metal brackets to attach to the black woven loops, so that the backpack can carry a little bit of weight to prevent the threads from breaking. On other websites selling the same backpack, the backpack pictures ALL have the metal brackets attached. Travelon prefers to lie about their product than have happy customers. I own many backpacks, all have a metal brackets attached or at least a very strong padded strap attached and not just a flimsy piece of ribbon attached. Only purchased this backpack because of RFID protection. I will never purchase a product from them again. I have a few Tumi backpacks, they have great Customer Service and stand by every product.

Not sturdy
First time using it today for my Yellowstone trip. The time I carry the backpack the strap for the bottom hook was damaged and I can only use it as a shoulder bag. Don’t know if I can still return it after my trip.
