I have had my Total Gym for 10 years

I have had this thing for 10 years and use it 5 times a week each day for 450 reps--I have only had to replace the ball bearings and pulls once--very durable and I get a great workout--I use it because it is so enjoyable and easier than push ups and sit ups --Great-- and helps me play golf and tennis--no back pain

Versatile machine but metal too thin

I am the only one to use my XLS purchased with accessories. It is obvious the total weight was part of the design criteria, but have noticed the metal is too thin. The upper portion when in use flexes way too much and creaks. This did not become apparent until the machine was used weekly. I am concerned that if all the machines are constructed with such thin metal, then metal fatigue failures are a strong possibility with larger people.

Good exercises but annoying component changes.

While the exercises are good and I'm using the machine regularly, I am finding that the bench is too short for me, a 6' tall man, and changing the components during a routine set of exercises is not simple.
