Fit is good, material is good, just a bit too much glitter. Made me feel like a Christmas wrapper.

It Is All in the Name
This review is for the black "Tinsel" cardigan by Jay Walker. The picture, nor the written description, describe this cardigan well. The picture seems to be a different cardigan that is truly flecked with white. The "flecks" in the cardigan that I received are actually very thin pieces of silver plastic "tinsel" (Mylar?) that sparkle in the light (the 1% of "other fibers"). I would be very careful putting this sweater in a dryer, as the "tinsel" could melt, depending on the type of plastic and the temperature of the dryer. There's a possibility that this sweater would shed pieces of "tinsel". I did not fully remove the sweater from the bag, but I can say that the knitting is a slightly fuzzy, medium loose knit. The shallow ribbing adds structure and some thickness. The cuffs and the bottom edge do not have an edge stitch that would protect against fraying with wear and curling. It is a medium weight, soft sweater.
