Strong chemical smell on fabric
Its been a month when I purchased this bed, I thought its normal to have that chemical smell on the fabric, I called their furniture department and reported the problem. They send someone from their furniture specialist(Carlos) came by and checked and agreed about the smell. When I called to make follow up about the report, they said my complained was turned down. Being a 17 years of Macys loyal customer I was so DISAPPOINTED FOR UNRELIABLE SERVICE!

Impressive
This bed is solid and well-constructed. It took me about 3.5 hours to put it together myself. I can't comment on the durability/ longevity but it appears to be quite solid and heavy with no squeaking or "rocking" of the headboard of any sort. My only complaint is that it was very difficult for me to see what color I was actually receiving. I viewed it online but often times the photos are deceiving and I found that out the hard way by ordering other beds that were similar. I ended up ordering the light gray and did not want any beige in my bed like many of those that are advertised gray end up having. I would say it is an ivory with a very very very slight, light gray cast to it. I saw the medium gray in person at a store and it was more of a greige with a LOT more beige in it. The light gray that I purchased blends with a variety of gray tones but the one at the store was definitely more beige and darker. I still have to get a nice comforter and shams but added pics to help with color

Wrong measurements on Macys online
Got wrong bed twice, I ordered a California King, the sizes with the measurements are wrong on this website. I had to buy another box spring due to the incorrect measurements on this website. The delivery people are rude , they do not wear booties or clean up their mess . Extremely unprofessional.

So Beautiful! Great Quality at a Great Price
The bed is beautiful, modern yet classic at the same time. Quality is great. It is lower to the ground so if you have a thin box spring and then mattress it will seem very low. Newer mattresses and box springs are much thicker and will not be a problem.

Parts were damaged
Beautiful bed BUT support boards were split and the the preset screws were all crooked. Had to go buy tools and boards to fix it!!!

Beautiful Frame
Well made bed frame and easy to put together. It looks lovely. I gave 4 stars because the color description is inaccurate, I would consider this a light gray.

Incorrect Deceiving Description
Buyers be aware Bed does require box frame. Even though the description on website says no box spring required. I even spoke with their customer service before delivery and they confirmed bed that bed is a platform bed but it isn’t. Macys cannot have incorrect information on their website and ship us wrong bed. It’s a waste of time and resources after paying for white glove delivery for incorrect bed

Looks light grey
The bed is high quality and very big we love it. I wish it was a little more beige because it looks like a very light grey but other then that It’s Gorgeous
