I adored Allie and Dean!
I loved this book! I don’t know why I waited so long to read this series. I am just glad that I am reading it now because it is so well done. These characters are fabulous and feel so real. I had a great time with Allie and Dean’s story and loved the fact that there were a few surprises along the way. Once I started reading this one, I hated to put it down. Allie is dealing with a break-up and needs a place to stay so she ends up staying alone with Dean. Dean has a way with the women on campus and has been warned to keep his hands to himself. Allie and Dean end up spending one glorious night together. But is that enough? The more time these two spend together the more that they find out that they have in common. I adored Dean and Allie together. I thought that they were just perfect for each other. The chemistry between them is amazing and if you are looking for heat, look no further. I really liked getting to know Allie and Dean better. Allie hasn’t had it easy while Dean has led a rather privileged life. I liked seeing Allie let her head down and have a good time with Dean. I liked how they were there for each other and seemed to know exactly what they needed from each other. They do face a pretty big obstacle to their relationship and I thought that it was handled perfectly. I would highly recommend this book to others. This is the third book in the Off-Campus series but it could be read as a stand-alone. Readers of the series will enjoy seeing some much-loved characters in this book. I had such a good time watching Allie and Dean find their happily ever after. I cannot wait to read more of this fantastic series! I received a review copy of this book from Bloom Books.

An okay romance book.
Honestly I don’t even know where to start with my review for “The Score”. I had really high hopes for this book, because it seems like besides Garrett, Dean is everyone's favorite Off-Campus boy. I never liked Dean, so I was ready to read his book and be proved wrong about my dislike of him. But things didn’t really end up that way. Allie Hayes has always been a relationship girl. Casual hookups and one night stands were never something she enjoyed or even played around with. But after breaking up with her longtime boyfriend and a drunken hookup with Dean Di Laurentis, she decides to see just what she was missing out on. Dean is all for the easy hookups, until he finds himself only able to think about Allie. I hate to say it, but I don’t have that many great things to say about this book. It was decent, I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t love it either. I think my biggest issue is that these books seem a bit repetitive. This is the third book with a guy who isn’t interested in any sort of relationship until a special girl comes along and changes his mind. But the girl doesn’t give in easily, and they have this push and pull relationship until everyone finally gives in and lives happily ever after. Don’t get me wrong, this is a great storyline. I loved the first book and really enjoyed the second. But this is the third time, and at this point I'm just bored and burnt out with this format. I also just never really felt anything for these characters. I never found myself super invested in Dean or Allie, or their relationship together. I think this is simply due to my dislike of Dean’s character. Party crazy guys who hookup with a different girl every night just aren’t typically characters I enjoy. There were a few things I enjoyed. I loved the occasional appearances of Hannah and Garrett. It was great how they treated Allie and were always there for her, it’s great to see characters in a relationship still be there for other characters outside of that relationship. And I actually did find myself enjoying Dean’s character when he worked with the kids. But.. that's about it. Again, I really didn’t hate this book, I just found it okay. If I didn’t plan on reading The Goal, I probably would’ve DNF’d around the 50% mark simply so I could move onto something I knew I’d enjoy more. I really wish I had better things to say about this book. I can understand why people love it so much, but it just wasn’t for me. I do think it’s worth reading if you plan to read The Goal and The Legacy, simply for the context. In the end, I’m glad I read it so that the next two books will make more sense to me and therefore make them more enjoyable. I give “The Score” 3/5 stars.

Casanova Dean falling for Allie
While reading “The Score”, I’m noticed certain characters were being introduced that we haven’t heard of or have been briefly mentioned in the “The Mistake”. As I’m reading “The Score” characters like Sabrina ( briefly mentioned in “The Mistake”) are brought up again in this story, and we learn a bit more about who she is. In addition, this book sets up the stage for the future books such as, the Briar U spin-off series. Dean was one of the characters I was most intrigued to read about in regards to, how he goes from his Casanova ways to being unable to stop thinking about his night with Allie. From the previous two books, I always saw Dean as the kind of guy who didn’t take anything seriously, but through his point of view, I was able to get a clearer understanding as to why he’s acted the way that he has all his life ( the entirety of the series). There’s a lot more than meets the eye when it comes to Dean, and his character development is by far one of my favorites out of the Off-Campus series. It’s clear Dean started to see Allie in a different light after spending time with her, and it’s a nice change for him (especially as a reader, I love seeing him start to open up). Allie opens up too such as, embracing her desires, and remaining absolute in her in decisions. I also liked how Dean reassures Allie that she shouldn’t feel shame for doing what she wants or feeling guilty about their night together. Specifically I liked how Dean tells Allie that she shouldn’t shame herself. I think a lot of the time for women, we feel that if we’re vocal about what we want or do in terms of being intimate, we get labeled as being promiscuous, etc. That part in particular I liked that it was brought up, while it was brief it was something that I appreciated was brought up. Like the other Off-Campus series books, I was unable to pry the book from my hands! I needed to know what was going to happen next!

Amazing Series!
I have read all the books in the 'Off-Campus' series and they are captivating. I seriously could not put them down! The characters are so easy to fall in love with and the humor is an amazing touch. Of course, the romance throughout is HOT and leaves you wanting more. I highly recommend reading all 4 books to this series, you will not be disappointed!
