Web ID: 16835418Great read!! Bravo!
The author is a cleaver writer. I felt like I was in Paris. Surprisingly clever plot twists. It has suspense, obsession, mystery, toxic relationships, and thrill all in one little novel. I couldn't put it down because I wanted to see what would happen next!

Amazing read
This is the book that rekindled my love for reading, I keep going back to reread it. I loved that I was constantly questioning the whodunnit aspect and how the main character was likable. 10/10!

Nothing special, not worth the money
Even as Premium member getting the 10% off, this book was not worth my time. It was too much going on, and didn't get any clarification on what happened to the main character until the last 3 chapters. Not worth the read.

Not Great IMO
I read The Guest List by the same author and it was such a fast, intriguing thriller written in the POV of several characters. It was written smoothly. The Paris Apartment was quite the opposite for me. The very beginning intrigued me and then it was very hard to keep me interested. The pace is very slow and the author/narrative is very repetitive. The POV of the different characters was also very confusing, unlike the Guest List, and it was hard to keep track because you would read about them for a chapter and then move onto something else, mostly the main character’s POV and that’s it. It had great potential and some chapters kept me more interested than others by I found it so hard wanting to read this book. I made it about halfway through and just couldn’t finish it unfortunate. Little disappointing considering The Guest List is awesome IMO!

One word…Amazing
This book is everything I could have hoped for it to be. It was the plot twist that I saw coming but NOT what I EXPECTED to come. Lucy..you’re absolutely amazing and have a wonderful talent. Reading is magnificent but I can see this in film. I honestly was casting the characters as actors throughout the entire story. I love how we get the perspective of each character, it’s remarkably developed. You have truly added fuel to my passion for reading, Ms. Foley.

Jess is broke and desperate to figure out what happened to Ben. She doesn't know who to trust. At first, Nick tries to help Jess figure out what happened to Bem - but soon she figures out something is wrong. Speaking to Theo Mendelson, Ben's boss, and editor of the Guardian in Paris - she will have to navigate what is going on at 12 Rue des Amants and the Menier family before she becomes a target herself. All of it is related to a club - La Petit Morte. The socialite – The nice guy – The alcoholic – The girl on the verge – The concierge. Everyone’s a neighbor. Everyone’s a suspect. And everyone knows something they’re not telling. Narrated from the first-person point of view of each of the main characters, this is an easy, fast read. I thought it was intriguing, and I genuinely enjoyed the twists, but overall, there were too many cliches that I had to roll my eyes at, and I didn't feel connected to any of the characters. I do think this is worth reading if you enjoy thrillers or suspenseful novels.
