I'd purchase this item again provided...

This bookbag is ideal/good for most things whether that be Travel, School, Day /Weekend Trip, Commuting to work etc. I bought it mainly for it's design/color, familiarity of products comfort & features it has that were based on HotShot Models from the past that are no longer on current HS models. Apart of those things, were 2 sets of straps on each side of the bag that allow for optimal flattening of the bag when it doesn't have to be bulky or protruding in heavily populated areas (most TNF bookbags now only have 1 clip/strap set in the middle of the bag that bring the bags density down & I don't find that to be as effective) along with the additional pockets as well as a FINALLY MUCH NEEDED ZIPPERED pocket in the smaller outside pocket! These array of added pockets & clip sets make for a considerable improvement in comparison to the design of both the current and older HotShot models from the past! With that said though, when making the decision on this bag over other HS or even BigShot models, definitely consider the durability. This bag DOESN'T feel as durable as passed models or even the current. It's material is definitely a bit thinner as are the SHOULDER STRAPS which is definitely off putting when you know your susceptible to carrying many or heavy things. When letting the bag hang from your back the amount of slack given isn't as much either (This is probably due to the added loops they've added to reign in the slack) Standing above 6'0 this bag falls at waist/belt level @ best & will sometimes annoyingly sit on my belt & NOT BELOW IT which is slightly more bothersome then I'd ever come to realize making me appreciate the older model & giving me more reason to rate this product. I have 2 older models that fall well below my hips & having that option makes for more comfort depending on items carried & wiastline! Trying this bag on & feeling the quality of the material before purchasing is advised & makes for a much more ideal/ satisfied purchase!
