The Happiness Trap by Russ Harris teaches you how to break your bad habits in life through interactive activities and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). The book focuses on building a rich and meaningful life by accepting flaws and imperfections rather than fixating on them and creating further stress in your life. I highly recommend this book because it provides you with many different ways to change your outlook on life so you can live it to the fullest. It provides many interactive activities that help you change your every day bad habits and it allows you to reflect back on them at the end of the book to see what you’ve improved. It was really nice that all of these exercises came free for download with the book so that you could complete the ones for each chapter as you read through the chapters. This book is definitely very helpful for anyone who wants to make improvements in their life or cope with stress.
