great cookbook!

This is a comprehensive, friendly, and fun cookbook extolling the virtues of fresh eggs (you can, of course, use store-bought eggs if you don't have fresh, but I understand her POV on fresh). The recipes all sound great, and I love that the basics are covered, like how to scramble eggs, fry them, soft-cook and hard-cook them, etc. (basted eggs FTW!). There's all kinds of helpful tips and tricks throughout, and Steele's conversational tone makes it feel like you're learning from a friend. This may seem like a specialty cookbook you wouldn't use much, but look through it and you'll see it's actually one you'd use quite a bit. Definitely worth adding to anyone's cookbook shelf! #TheFreshEggsDailyCookbook #NetGalley

fabulous

What a very informative eggy book this is, love the bio of the author at the start and the information about our not so humble egg was really interesting. We have always had poultry from ducks, geese, turkeys and guinea fowls over the years, but our constant has always been the "chook" as we call them in Australia. I don't think I have ever bought eggs in my life and always free range and organic. As well as the great introduction, the book covers Cooking Techniques, Breakfast Dishes, Preserving, Brunch, Nibbles, Dinner, Sweets and condiments This is a big book with a great deal of recipes, beautifully presented and photographed, a lot only require a few ingredients apart from the egg, whilst others are a little more involved. A fabulous book that I will dip into time and time again

All things fresh eggs

All things fresh eggs. I highly recommend The Fresh Eggs Daily Cookbook. Lovely photos, great information on all things eggs and a plethora of egg recipes and dessert recipes. Lot's of new ideas on how to prepare inventive egg recipes (truly versatile). Tons of dessert recipes, featuring eggs. I even made the vanilla pudding recipe tonight (it used vanilla paste and I was looking for a vanilla pudding recipe that utilized vanilla bean paste. Highly recommend.

Move over Farm to Table, Backyard to Table is here

Eggs. Glorious Eggs! This book is all about Eggs. While the author keeps chickens, and more cities are starting to reconsider allowing residents to have them, not everyone has, or wants their own chickens. That’s OK, while the author shares some of her tidbits on raising them, This book is really all about the eggs and how to make them in a variety of ways. Enjoy the pictures, but really enjoy the recipes as there is something for everyone in this book. I’m going to be trying a lot of these recipes over time and can’t wait to get started. I’ll let the family make the first few suggestions, if they can agree on a few…because they’re going to want to try them all too!
