I'm very satisfied with my purchase!

I love this book and I am so happy I purchased it to add to my collection. The illustrations inside are in black and white and they are beyond gorgeous, as is the cover design and the book in general. 🙂

Absolutely beautiful!

So beautifully bound. The gilded pages and the cover are both so exquisite! The translations by Samuel Butler and the art by Gustave Doré both add a vivid artistic flair. 10/10, highly recommend!

Bonded Leather

This is a great looking printing with a very well designed cover and good looking images inside. But being bound in bonded leather gets it 1 star. For those that don't know, bonded leather is not leather. It's leather dust mixed in with cotton and polyurethane scraps and all glued together, finally having a leather texture stamped into it. *It will not last long*, after a year or two, the bonded leather will just start to flake and fall apart. It's especially bad because using real leather wouldn't have cost much more and I'd have been happy to pay extra for a book this nice looking bound in real leather.
