These are awesome. Remember chemistry class, whether you took the class or not: the glass beakers they used for example. That's what Borosilicate Glass is. That's what these are made of. I don't recommend putting it in a microwave, but these babies can withstand some pretty serious heat is the point the emphasis is here that I'm making. What impresses me and what makes me happy I actually invested in these particular mugs is that I made a nice hot cup of coffee from my Nespresso machine. (Nice and hot, you can't go wrong unless your machine is malfunctioning on you. Mine isn't, never has but anyway) ... My nice hot cup of coffee got to just above room temperature from sitting out that I wasn't happy about. I put ice in the slightly warmer than cold coffee. The point: three hours later the coffee was delightfully cold and there was still good sized ice cubes unmelted in the cup. I'd post a picture if I could. If I can, I will.
