The most beautiful book

Mommy, how did you get all wet. Tears slowly rolled as I read this book to my child - the words and art individually are remarkable. Blend them together and you have one of the greatest piece of work of all time.

Heartwarming

this is one of the most wholesome books I've read in quite awhile. Any where you open this book is a heartwarming quote that is sure to uplift your spirits. favorite quotes: "What do you want to be when you grow up?" "Kind." said the boy. "What's the bravest thing you've ever said?" asked the boy. "Help." said the horse.

A moving story of friendship and love

This book nearly moved me to tears. Some readers might not think it has an exciting plot, but this story of a boy and his animal friends offers a different reading experience. If you want something quieter and more introspective and based in celebrating friendship and love, this story is right for you! I would compare this book to The Wind in the Willows or the original Winnie the Pooh books (NOT THE DISNEY CHARACTERS FYI)! Recommended for ages 8 and above.

A Book for Everyone

I purchased one copy and after reading it purchased a second one to give to a friend. A short read but I stopped on each page to digest what I just read and what it meant to me. I recently lost my husband of 52 years and the comfort I got from this book was as good as any of the grief groups I have joined. Read it to a child who's too young to read and enjoy the illustrations together. You'll be teaching some of the best lessons in life.
