Beautiful Deck

I was at first wary of buying this deck due to the reviews saying the card stock was low quality. I won’t argue that it is thinner however i have not had any problems with this at all and found it a nice contrast to my other decks. The art work is stunning. I will warn it is a pip deck meaning it’s not the friendliest for those who use imagery on the cards for interpretation as the minor arcana is displayed in the way similar to playing deck of cards. I found he guide book was also a great addition to the resources I use for readings. It has a lot of great information for expanding knowledge of tarot.

Pip deck with bad card stock, but worth buying

Every review on this deck mentions bad card stock, however the card stock in no way makes the deck “unusable”. Though it is a “pip deck” the art is gorgeous and really appeals to me due to my more macabre interests. The box is alright, though not very travel-friendly. What I love about this deck the most is the guidebook; its very thorough and helpful for beginners, even though it doesn’t include reversals. Overall, even with the poor quality card stock and the chunky box, this deck is definitely worth the purchase, and I would definitely buy it again.

Beautiful, But Very Cheap Card Stock

First things first: the artwork and guidebook for this deck are divine. The guidebook is nearly a full-size book that delves deep into so many facets of tarot, like associated star signs, cards that pair well together, etc. The artwork is nothing short of beautiful if not a tad macabre, but still, elegant. However, the card stock is not acceptable, which is why I've only rated this deck at 3 stars. The card stock is very thin, and after the very first use, the cards flexed and curved. I found it very difficult to shuffle the cards because of this, and after shuffling gently the first time, was disappointed to find foxing around the edges. I sincerely hope that this is released with a sturdier stock, because it truly would be a collector's deck at a higher quality.

Stunning, but thin.

Art work-10/10 Box-10/10 Book-10/10 Cards-3/10 The box is super sturdy, and beautiful. The book is great, and has a lot of information (meanings for colors, numbers, astrology, elements, and a few basic spreads). The cardstock is where they failed. It is very thin, so you have to be gentle! That being said, I am very clumsy and haven't damaged them yet. I still highly recommend if you can take care with them.
