Disappointed

I am redecorating my living room. After replacing my end tables with shorter ones, I needed new lamps. It took me a long time to find ones that I really like. Unfortunately, I had to compromise with the one thing my husband wanted & that was a usb charge port. I was so excited to find out that I could get tabletop dimmer controls. I ordered 1 for each lamp. Today I received the lamps & controls. After unboxing 1 of the controls, I was so disappointed to find out that the cords are so short that they will not reach the closest plug-in. I could probably use an extension cord or a plug strip, but I will not do that. I never leave anything permanently plugged into an extension cord & I would have to fish out the plug strip to reach the power button from behind our sofa. Not going to do that. So, I will be returning these switches to the store.

Poor quality and bad design.

The dimmer is extremely poor quality. I purchased two, and one failed within a month. Additionally, I bought it specifically for the USB port to charge my phone. I have the dimmer connected to the lamp on my nightstand, but when I slide the dimmer all the way down at bedtime to turn off the light, it also cuts power to the USB port, which means my phone won't charge overnight.
