Odd color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The boots are very high quality however the blackish color is not very dark. It’s almost the color of black ink with a purple undertone. Maybe this is the intended color for “noir” , but it doesn’t match the color of the picture.

The nicest looking boots I've ever owned.

These are some of the most attractive shoes I've ever seen, every detail is so well done. I like how the brown sole contrasts the black leather. I like the modest amount of brogue detailing. I like the subtle Cuban heel (meaning the back of the heel is slightly taller than the front). I like how easy they are to pull on and off. I like that the fabric pattern takes up about 15% of the surface of the boot rather than 75% as is the case with many other Taft styles. It's pretty much exactly what I would make if I designed shoes.

Extremely Cool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Eden Noir pattern, but I've hesitated to buy any boots in the pattern out of fear that it was maybe a bit too decadent, and wanted something a bit more timeless. The Valencia setup is absolutely perfect for what I wanted; it's got the stylish Eden flair but it's subdued enough to be a more regular part of my wardrobe. Love these boots, they fit so comfortably, they're very clean, they're easy to get on, lots of compliments.

Havana + Eden

These fit just like the Havana (a bit tighter than something like the Jack), though once they are broken in, they make for such a sleek profile. The bit of color added by the Eden fabric is a nice little touch.

Upholds Expectations

These boots are becoming my new favorite in my collection from Taft. Everytime, I wear them compliments, people stare, and admire. Already debating on buying the Noir version of these boots.
