This versatile indoor grill takes the guessing out
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There isn’t anything better than grilled food but sometimes the weather doesn’t cooperate. The T-fal OptiGrill+ solved that problem and more. I tested it with fish, burgers, hot dogs and hot sandwiches - and loved them all. I could even start with frozen food. By selecting the food pictures on the front, I didn’t even have to think about how long to cook them for, but I could customize beef to be prepared from rare to well-done. The indicator light let me know how much longer the process would take. Clean up was easy: just tossing the grill plates and drip tray in the dishwasher. I plan on using this for many years to come.

Features would have been good if they actually worked
Grill's sensor cooking only worked for a few months. Then it would almost never signal it had preheated but shut off instead. Even in manual mode it is proving unreliable, after flashing and refusing to work even after reset.

Great item to give for a gift
Love the OptiGrill. I have owned one for 2years, the current purchase is a Christmas gift for my son and daughter-in-law. It is so easy to use and the clean up is wondeful! No greasy mess all over your stove from grilling burgers. I use it often.

Worst product EVER!!
If I could give this ZERO stars I would. Worst product EVER! very disappointing T-fal!!! Everything about it sucks! Don't buy this!!

Dont bother
This grill has worked properly one time in the 10 years ive had it. It will return to the garage on the shelf. Do not purchase.

Indoor Grilling for 8 months of winter.
This is my second one. It cooks steaks to perfection. I grill chicken, and frozen hamburger patties as well as homemade. Great grilled cheese sandwiches. Lots of recipes come with it. The grilling plates are dishwasher safe which makes clean-up a breeze. You will not be disappointed with this grill.

Would be great, if it worked!
The grill basically shuts off when you put the food on the plates. Preheats, ready beep sounds and then when you put the food on and close cover the OK light starts flashing...usually after it beeps saying food is already at well done stage already!! Tried the factory reset I was sent and still does it. Guess I’ll be buying a ninja grill.
