Why the strong chemical smell after months of use
That chemical s ell that was supposed to happen when you first turn on the iron has not gone or even lessened. Every time I iron the door fills the house. It is pungent an nauseating. We have had other appliances with the same odor like our new kettle and even our stove but the smell disappeared after a few uses. What can I do other than throw it in the garbage. It works fine otherwise

I have just used this iron for the 1st time , I Found it very easy to iron had my ironing done quicker . Gets rid of creases on my curtains other irons couldn’t and believe u me I’ve had a few .

Disappointed
Bought this iron several months ago. Doesn't get as hot as my old one (even on the highest setting), can hardly see how much water is in the tank because of the darker blue, and the tab to open for adding water is very difficult to pry open.
