will work for a light weight person

I had been searching high and low for a natural wood seat with specific dimensions. The fact that this is a set with a foot rest and stool was perfect. It was packaged nicely and instructions were clear to put together. However there is no clear weight maximum for the seat. Once i put it together it’s clear that this won’t hold up for long being used frequently of anyone over approx 150 lbs. The seat slats are supported by one board across it. I believe this is intentional so the seat has a little give/bounce… but the slats are really weak. I’m afraid it will crack if I pick it up my the slats. I will be using the foot rest daily (the slats are very sturdy in the foot rest) in the shower but not the seat. I’m also 130 lbs so the seat will work for me…. it buyer be aware. If the seat was for daily use or I was any heavier I would return it. If you are using the bench for decor or to display, it’s perfect. Very good looking set.
