Broken glass is missing, very poor box condition

I don't recommend it at all. The original box was in a worse condition and they packed with another 2 box. Total packed with 3 boxes, weird. The lamp itself was broken. The broken glass was missing and it looked like I got a used lamp:(

Beautiful lamp

This is a beautiful, traditional style lamp. I like the muted brass finish and the graceful clear glass section near the top. Also like the shape and soft beige color of the shade. It was easy to assemble. The pieces fit together tightly enough that the lamp does not wobble. The base is heavy enough to keep the lamp from tipping over if you bump into it. My living room looks so much better with this lamp.

Pretty Addition to a Room

Love this lamp - it looks so much richer than the on-line pic. Beautiful piece to add to a room! A definite win !

nice but not a 3-way switch

The lamp was good quality and what I was expecting -- a very good value, given the price of comparable lamps. But I was very disappointed that the switch did not work with a 3-way bulb, as was described in the specifications. (I tried several bulbs, too.)

Classic elegant lamp is perfect in our living room

This lamp is a winner! From the ivory linen textured shade with a touch of gold metallic trim around the top and bottom edges, the gorgeous overall antique gold color, the gently fluted column with a clear blown glass fluted accent with a hint of gold color topped by a sprout of six palm leaves, to the solid traditional base that is a rounded on top of a square platform. Plus, it is tall! A classic that is perfect in our transitional living room.

Exactly What I Was Looking For

Lamp is very nice quality and even more beautiful than pictured. Nice heavy weight too. The bulbous part on the pole is actually a slightly tinted glass that blends nicely with the gold. In the picture it just looks like a continuation of the metal. The shade is also well constructed. This arrived double boxed and packed well. Very elegant and very happy with this purchase.
