Great deal! This will go great with jeans on the Alaska cruise or even on those cool fall nights!
So soft
I only read the reviews after my purchase. I would not have purchased this sweatshirt if I had read the reviews first. However, my view is a little different. I've worn & washed mine with no transfer of color. I was able to buy a size down which I got to tell you is exciting for me. After trying it on I fell in love with the silky softness and comfort. I loved the color shade of purple which had a vintage vibe and well worn look. The design is appealing to me because I like a little something outside of perfection but I realize all of this is not for everyone. I'm keeping mine.
Didn't like it
I returned it. The picture on-Line was MUCH nicer then the actual shirt.
Comfortable,but..
After reading the other reviews I decided to hand wash the top in cold water in Woolite first. The water immediately turned the color of an eggplant. I rinsed it two more times and never got the water to run clear of the purple dye. After it dried I used a dry light cloth and gently rubbed it against the top-and color transferred to the cloth. I'm worried about the color transferring to a leather handbag and ruining it-so it's getting returned. The other comment about the design not being centered or straight is also correct-however every top on the rack was the same way- so that appears to be intentional for some reason.
Loved top but
Loved sweatshirt top but embroidery of letters was not straight nor centered. Dissappointing.

I wanted to LOVE this top...
..because I usually wear an XL or XXL, or 1X. So, I was excited that the L fit me without clinging. Fabric is soft and not uncomfortable like a gym sweatshirt. And the puff-paint actually looks like real embroidery and looks awesome. I was loving it until I took it off and realized that the lavender colored dye had transferred on to my bra, and this was just from trying it on!! Then, I looked at my fingertips and nails and guess what? The dye had transferred quickly to everything it touched, including the bed sheet where I had placed it for a moment to fold it. I wouldn't want to think about wearing this top and breathing in the particles of dye powder that would lift away from simple movement. Here's the warning on the hangtag that is attached on every garment that reads..."Wash before wearing. The dyes in this garment could rub off especially when wet. Care should be taken to prevent this garment from coming in contact with light fabrics or upholstery." This garment was dry and it was shedding like crazy. If this is anything like a tee-shirt I once purchased last year from the Charter Club line that had the same exact problem, I ended up returning to the store after I washed it and all or most of the dye washed out and what was left was the fabric looking thin and cheap and showed "wear" marks in the underarm area and worst of all--the chest area! And it continued to release that dye in little particles everywhere, even in the car!! I would not recommend this top at all. In fact, I cannot imagine that this was approved in quality control. The star is for the fact that for a moment I felt like I lost a few pounds and fit into the Large and not the Extra-Large. That's it!
