odd table leg placement

This table has the legs positioned in a way it’s impossible to position the chairs scooted in unless you have the leaves in - then there are not enough chairs. Look at the pic closely and you will see the chairs are sitting outside of the table. I kept the set because shipping back is practically impossible but would not recommend this to my friends.
