Falling apart after first wear

Writing this on my first night of vacation. I bought these in green for this trip and wore them for the first time to dinner tonight. Halfway through dinner tonight, I thought I noticed something on my shoe and was shocked to see both shoes already starting to fall apart from only a 5 minute walk from the taxi to our restaurant. The front of one is peeling off and the sides of the other are cracked. The quality is very concerning. Even though I bought them on sale, it’s too much to pay for something that already looks old. They arrived without these flaws, so the quality and integrity of the shoe is concerning. I’ve had several shoes from Steve Madden, all of which lasted 5-10 years with regular wear. This is really disappointing.

Not for wide feet

Purchased the green, beautiful shoe but not meant for my wide feet. The flower petals are soft and not stiff.
